Computer printing of information coded paper

Formatted paper used in a computer printer is produced with a identification bar code 2 printed onto it . When the paper in a cassette is loaded into the printer the bar code is read 4 to identify the side. A variation uses two bar code readers that allow identification such that data may be printed on both sides.
