Gear rack seal

A gear rack seal (10) has a basically circular base with a sealing lip, on the inner circumference of which has an oil/air sealing rim (11) on which the gear rack rests. The two sides of the oil/air sealing rim form an angled lip (11) to the contact surface. The lip (11) is set at a steep angle preferably close to 90 degrees on both sides. The seal inner face also bears a number of micro-sealing rings.
