<p>A device for fitting an outdoor unit of a separate type air conditioner, by which the outdoor unit can be readily installed on an external wall surface, and movement and swinging of the outdoor unit is prevented. The device comprises a wall-mount section (3) mounted in contact with the external wall (C) with bolts (17); a holding section (4) provided on the upper part of this wall-mount section (3) and extending laterally to support from underneath a first engaging section (22) provided on the upper part of the back (21) of the outdoor unit (2), and engaging from above with this holding section (4); and a posture keeping section (5) provided on the wall-mount section (3) positioned lower than the first engaging section (22), with which a second engaging section (23) positioned lower than the first engaging section (22) engages from above to control the movement of the lower part of the outdoor unit back and forth.</p> |
