<p>A surface sealing system for a district waste dump consists of a sealing layer (13) of bonded, consolidated and immobilised soil material which covers a levelling layer (12), preferably of soil material, applied on the waste dump (11). The soil material may consist at least partially of contaminated soil and is preferably bonded hydraulically with lime and/or cement or bonded with ash, slag, clay dust, waterglass, an emulsion, wax, resin and/or metal recycling residues.</p> |
