<p>A speed judging and annunciating device which fairly judges in a short time whether or not the speed of a vehicle such as an automobile, a motorcycle, etc. exceeds a prescribed value and informs a third person or the driver of the vehicle of the speed so that the third person or the driver can easily judge and recognize the speed. The device is provided with a speed judging unit (1) which is incorporated with sensors (11 and 12) respectively provided on the upstream and downstream sides of the traveling direction of the automobile (3) for detecting the passage of the automobile (3) and judge the speed of the automobile (3) based on the detected information of the sensors (11 and 12) and a signal having a red lamp (21) (and a yellow lamp (22)) which are turned on when the speed exceeds a prescribed value. The judging unit (1) judges whether or not the speed of the automobile (3) is over the prescribed value based on the distance between the sensors (11 and 12) and the time for the automobile (3) to travel the distance. When the speed exceeds the prescribed value, the lamp (21 or 22) is turned on for a fixed period of time.</p> |
