FIELD: construction, wood-working and food-processing industries. SUBSTANCE: moisture measuring device has radiation source 1, composite light filter 2 secured on shaft of synchronous electric engine 3 which is connected to power amplifier 4, photoelectric converter 5, photo-generated current amplifier 6, two-input commutator 8 connected to output of photo-generated current amplifier 6, with one input of commutator 8 being connected through inverting amplifier 7, integrator 9 connected with its input to commutator 8 and with its output to comparator 10, which is connected to one input of trigger 11, and power amplifier 4. Control input of commutator 8 and other input of trigger 11 are connected to frequency divider 13 switched to timing frequency generator 12. Output of trigger 11 is connected with control input of switch 14 connecting timing pulse generator 12 with pulse counter 15.
