FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines, pumps, compressors or gas expansion machines. SUBSTANCE: machine has cylinders with two-side pistons, link mechanism converting reciprocating motion of pistons into rotation of output shaft, and chain drives. First and second (small and big) links installed on output shaft are aligned and are furnished with levers. First big connecting rod is coupled with first link through its lever, second small connecting rod is coupled by its end with second link through its lever and by other end, with first connecting rod. Machine has toothed sheaves over which chain is passed. One of sheaves is installed on output shaft and the other is coupled with first connecting rod and with fan installed for cooling the machine. End of first connecting rod is connected to piston rod. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability, enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 6 dwgo
