INSTALLATION FOR OPERATING RESERVOIRS FOR VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS

FIELD: fuel filling stations; fuel reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: installation has reservoir and adsorption filter and is furnished with two breathing valve units. Adsorption filter consists of intake, adsorption and peripheral outlet chambers installed coaxially relative to each other. One of breathing valve units is arranged in lower portion of intake chamber dividing the chamber into two isolated and hermetically sealed spaces and is connected to filling reservoir. Other breathing valve unit is connected to peripheral outlet chamber and communicates with atmosphere. In preferable design version activated charcoal is used as adsorbent. Summary volume of pores of coal is 1.20-1.55 cm3/g, with volume of medium and large pores in efficient range of radii being 0.20-0.35 cm3/g. Volumes of peripheral outlet, adsorption and intake chambers of installation can be provided with draining line furnished with shutoff valve to connect upper part of filling reservoir with lower part of intake chamber.
