METHOD FOR COUNTERFILTRATION SEALING OF FUNCTIONAL JOINT IN HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING STRUCTURE

FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is used for sealing of functional joints and in repair of hydraulic engineering structures. According to method, surface of functional joint in hydraulic engineering structure is subjected to cleaning with creation of recess. Then located in thus produced recess is hose of material which is low-permeable for liquid. After that, injected into hose is solution of hydraulically active foam polyurethane which in reaction with water increases its volume and fills in recess created in functional joint. This is accompanied with compaction and hermetic sealing of joint. Application of aforesaid method of sealing functional joints allows for substantial reduction of time and expenses for repair of such joints in hydraulic engineering structures and for enhancing reliability of hermetic sealing of functional joints.
