<p>PURPOSE:To constitute a system of high reliability by surely detecting slipping- off of a cable with respect to the communication system where communication is performed through the cable. CONSTITUTION:A cable connection signal generating circuit 4 and a cable slipping-off detection circuit 5 are provided in each of devices 1a and 1b, and pins arranged in both end parts of a connector 3 are used to transmit and receive the cable connection signal outputted from the cable connection signal generating circuit, and it is desired whether the received cable connection signal is significant or not to surely detect slipping-off of the cable. The received cable connection signal is turned back in the device 1b to reduce the number or cable connection signal generating circuits to one per system.</p> |
