The probe tube (4) is inserted into the lumen of the stomach and has a retainer member (13) at the distal end. The holder (1) is placed externally on the abdominal wall. The probe tube is enclosed by a flexible outer tube. The two tubes are joined at their distal ends and axially movable in relation to each other and can be fixed in different positions. The outer tube has peripherally distributed lengthwise slits for splaying out the retainer member. At least the slotted part of the outer tube is enclosed by a flexible sheath.
