The invention relates to a method for classifying targets by means of a radar system. The inventive method specially provides that the power spectrum and the number of blades in the turbojet engine should be determined in order to classify jet planes using traditional methods. On this basis, a characteristic vector is established which is then further processed by a neuronal network.
