The stopper can be inserted into the connector aperture of a watertight connection housing (1) so as to hermetically seal a connection holding chamber (2) and has an essentially tubular body section (11). At least one sealing protrusion (12) protrudes radially and can adhere to the inner wall surface of the connector aperture. The sealing protrusion has an annular section (13) which protrudes along a peripheral line in the outer surface of the body section and a thick-walled section (14) which is thicker than the annular section in the axial direction.
