<p>A pneumatic tyre comprises a tread portion provided with a plurality of longitudinal grooves, extending continuously in the tyre circumferential direction and having a bottom (4) and a pair of sidewalls (5) defining corners (6) therebetween, the corners (6) being rounded by a circular arc whose radius is not more than 2 mm, the inclination angles &thetas; of the sidewalls (5) being in the range of not more than 15 degrees with respect to the normal direction (N) to the tread surface line, the bottom (4) being provided with a plurality of ribs (10) which extend in the longitudinal direction of the groove substantially parallel with each other so that the bottom has a wavy configuration having no angled corner and the heights (H) of the ribs measured from the deepest point of the longitudinal groove being in the range of from 0.5 to 1.0 mm. <IMAGE></p> |
