<p>Ketones of formula (I) and their optical isomers are new. The dotted line = an opt. bond; R1 = H or Me; and R = H or lower alkyl, alkenyl or alkylidene. Also claimed is a perfume compsn. or perfumed article contg. a cpd. (I) as an active ingredient. (E)-1-(2,2,3(cis),6(trans)-tetramethylcyclohexyl)-2-penten-1-one (Ia), (E)-1-(2,2,6(cis)-trimethyl-3-methylenecyclohexyl)-2- butene-1-one (Ib), 1-(2,2,3(cis),6(trans)-tetramethylcyclohexyl) -1-propanone (Ic) and 1-(2,2,3,6(cis)-tetramethyl-3-cyclohexenyl)-1-propanone (Id) are specifically claimed.</p> |
