<p>The invention is directed to a system for controlling a servo clutch which is mounted between the motor of a vehicle and a transmission having at least one reverse gear which can be set. To set the reverse gear, at least two rotatable transmission parts are brought into meshing engagement with each other. To set the reverse gear, the servo clutch is driven in such a manner that a rotational movement is imparted to at least one of the transmission parts. With this system, the reverse gear can be set reliably and comfortably especially in automated manual-shift transmissions.</p> |
