<p>The display has figures being displayed by the simultaneous activation and deactivation of combinations of six icons (21-26). Each icon consists of segments which also are simultaneously activated and deactivated. There are 213 ways of forming six sufficient icons but they will all have one icon with high and low right hand segments (22). When two or more icons need to be used to produce a number, for example (21) and (23) for the number (5) the middle horizontal segment will be displayed at double brilliance but this may be avoided by using diodes in the connections.</p> |
