PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire useful materials having a high additive value by treating solid food waste at a low cost. SOLUTION: Media contg. the solid food waste, for example, juice-less alone of bean curd refuse, crude refuse, bran, fish garbage, juice, alcohol, etc., or domestic animal dung are inoculated with the eggs of Musca domestica and are treated with larva, by which vital materials and digestion residue are obtd. The domestic animal dung is preferably mixed with the digestion residue when the digestion residue is used for an org. fertilizer. Swine dung, bovine dung, poultry dung, etc., are used for the domestic animal dung. The inoculation of the Musca domestica may be adequately about 30 to 90mg per 100g media. A rearing temp. suffices with room temp. of 25 to 30 deg.C. The growth period until the eggs grow to the larvae of the Musca domestica is about 6 to 7 days. The resulted digestion residue is useful as an org. fertilizer and a soil conditioner and the larvae are usable as the raw material for feed contg. high protein. |
