PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-supporting walk supporting machine with no possibility of falling down of a supporting part even when a problem occurs on bonding elements and with improved safety by providing an enough strength on a bonding part between a supporting part for supporting the body of a user and an elevating and lowering member in an elevating and lowering mechanism for moving up and down the body of the user from a seating position to a standing position and improving structural safety. SOLUTION: The first projected part 15a, the second projected part 15b and the third projected part are provided by facing downward respectively on a connecting member 15 for a supporting part 8 and a rack cover 14 and the first projected part is inserted into a rack cover by a specified length and the second projected part is inserted so as to be brought into contact with the outer face of the rack cover positioned at the opposite side to the teeth face of the rack 13 and the third projected part is inserted so as to be brought into contact with the side faces of both sides of the rack cover and by clamping each projected part with a clamping tool such as a screw 16 on the rack cover, an embodiment wherein the inner and outer faces of the rack cover are placed between each projected part of a connecting member is taken. |
