PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material wherein the stability of a recorded image is high, and which is excellent in shelf life by using a specified phenolic compound as a developer. SOLUTION: A leuco dye which is used for a heat-sensitive coloring layer, is applied solely or by mixing two kinds or more, and for such a leuco dye, one which is applied for this kind of heat-sensitive recording material is optionally applied. Also, as a developer which is used for the heat-sensitive coloring layer, a phenolic compound represented by the formula (in the formula, R is a C1 -C18 alkyl group, an aralkyl group, an acyl group, a phenil group which may have a substitutional group, or a naphthyl group, and (n) is an integer of 1-3.) is used. When necessary, other developer and filler, an interfacial active agent, a lubricant, and a pressure coloring preventive agent, etc., are jointly applied. |
