PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator controller, for preventing lighting up of a disinfection lamp more than necessary, which turns on a disinfection lamp arranged in the car of an elevator as long as the elevator stands by with the door closed. SOLUTION: An elevator controller includes a timer TB for counting the duration in which a disinfection lamp 2 is turned on. If the timer TB turns on after a predetermined period after the light up of the lamp 2, the controller turns off the lamp 2. The controller thus prevents the lamp 2 from remaining turned on over a required period when the elevator is hardly used and stands by with the door closed for a longer period, typically at night, to save energy consumed by the lamp 2 and prolong the life thereof. |
