PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus which enables restricting of drop in energy fed into a focus as caused by the shielding of ultrasonic waves by a rib or the like. SOLUTION: A group 2 of piezo-electric elements is provided to irradiate a patient 3 with an ultrasonic wave for treatment being focused thereon and an ultrasonic image diagnosing apparatus 13 to obtain a tomographic image containing at least a part of a propagation path of an ultrasonic wave for treatment. A system controller 16 is provided to determine a shielding rate of an ultrasonic wave for treatment identified on a tomographic image by a barrier and energy of the ultrasonic wave for treatment charged into the focus thereof is decided according to the shielding rate to control at least a drive power and driving time thereof to the group 2 of piezo-electric elements according to the charged energy thus decided. |
