SOLUTION: The car speed V, and the lateral accelerations y andθare calculated depending on the outputs of a car speed sensor 26, a lateral acceleration sensor 28, and a yaw rate sensor. Furthermore, a side slip angular speedβis calculated from those data. An excessive over-steering condition is determined by the fact that the side slip angular speedβis made at a specific value or higher, and its variation in a specific time thereafter is within a specific scope. |
