PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder capable of miniaturizing a circuit for recording an image and of reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This ink jet recorder ejects an ink drop to record an image by applying a pulse voltage to drive a piezoelectric element. A waveform of the pulse voltage has a rising edge, a continuous amplitude portion and a falling edge. A plurality of time periods of the continuous amplitude portions are provided as waveforms W1, W2. As a result, ink drops having different sizes corresponding to the time periods can be ejected. |
