PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To jet ink stably from a recording head by suppressing clogging of an ink guide passage due to the air being introduced to a recording head through the ink guide passage when ink is introduced from an ink supply member of an ink cartridge to the recording head through the ink guide passage of a fixing member. SOLUTION: An ink supply member 15 is projected into a cartridge body 11 and an ink cartridge 10 supplying ink 1 in the cartridge body 11 from the ink supply member 15 to the outside is fixed to a fixing member 20 thus projecting the ink supply member 15 into the cartridge body 11. The ink 1 is introduced from the ink supply member 15 to the ink guide passage 25 of the fixing member 20 and an air discharge passage 26 is coupled with the ink guide passage 25.
