PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of a coupling part between units by a method wherein unit having blades, making a pair, protruding along the peripheral edges on both sides of a disc part is provided, and a plurality of the units are formed such that the blades of the adjoining units are intercoupled at their tips to form a cross flow fan. SOLUTION: A cross fan 90 is formed such that a end unit 10E, a plurality of units 10, a unit 10B for regulating length, and an end unit 10C are coupled together in one bank. Each unit 10 comprises a disc part 1; and blades 2 and 3 vertically protruded from the two surfaces 1a and 1b of the disc part 1. A recessed part 4 is formed in the tip surface 2e of the blade 2 and a protrusion part 5 is formed on the tip surface 3e of the blade 3. The units 10 are coupled together such that the adjoining recessed part 4 and the protrusion part 5 are engaged with each other in a state that a plurality of the units 10 are aligned in one bank with the central axes of the disc parts 1 coinciding with each other, and tip surfaces 3e and 2e are adhered to each other. |
