WATER SPRAYING METHOD OF COOLING COLUMN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent imperfect evaporation of sprayed water droplets in a cooling column. SOLUTION: In this method, the temp. of exhaust gas discharged from an incinerator, etc., is lowered in the cooling column 1 by water spray using a spray nozzle. In this case, spray nozzles 2 producing relatively larger sprayed water droplets are installed at a near side to a discharge gas introduction part 4, and also spray nozzles 3 producing relatively smaller sprayed water droplets are installed at a more downstream side of the exhaust gas than the nozzles 2.
