PUMP DRIVING STRUCTURE FOR TWO CYCLE ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump driving structure allowing compaction of the vehicle body width. SOLUTION: The drive side pulley 62 of a V belt type change gear 40 is fitted to the right end of a crankshaft 60 provided on an engine 25 and a balancer drive gear 76 is provided on the opposite side of the axial direction of the crankshaft 60. With the balancer drive gear 76 engaged with a balancer driven gear 77 on a balancer shaft 78 arranged directly below and in parallel to the crankshaft 60 and a pump drive gear 80 provided on one of the ends of the balancer shaft 78 engaged with a driven gear on respective pump shafts of a water pump and an oil pump arranged apart in the front and rear of the balancer shaft 78, these pumps are simultaneously driven by the balancer shaft 78.
