PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the external design and appearance of a house by installing a small upper window having the same window width as that of a lower window, having a smaller window height than the lower window, having similar vertical frames and sash bars as the lower window, which are vertically aligned with those of the lower window, and these small and large windows are installed in an exterior wall of a large interior space in the house. SOLUTION: An ordinary openable window 3 is provided at the lower side of an exterior wall 2 of a large interior well space, and a small window 4 is installed directly above the window 3, and the window 4 has the same window width and a smaller window height compared to the window 3. The small window 4 has the vertical frames and sash bars 6 at the same positions as the vertical frames and sash bars 5, 5 of the window 3 and is divided into the glasses and screens 7, 7, 8, 8. The screens 7, 7 are openable and other two are fixed. The small window 4 and the openable window 3 have the same positions in horizontal direction and have the same window width so that the overall design can be improved. Also, the vertical frames and sash bars 5 and 6 are located at the same positions vertically so that the uniformity in design can be further realized. |
