PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baking base for receiving a ceramic honeycomb structure of a raw body in fixed length in a standing state and baking, capable of excellently baking the structure without making the external edge part on the bottom face of the ceramic honeycomb structure be caught by the receiving face of the body during baking. SOLUTION: Receiving faces 12 and 13 of a ceramic honeycomb structure 21 in bases 10A and 10B are formed in a spherical shape or an elliptic shape slightly projected upward. Since the projection of the receiving faces 12 and 13 is gradually lowered and transferred to a flat face in the case of the gradual formation of bending in the bases 10A and 10B by repeated uses, not to mention in the case of no formation of bending, catch of an external edge part 21b of a bottom face 21b of the ceramic honeycomb structure 21 on the receiving faces is prevented. |
