PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce flows formed following intermittent jets into a contact oxidation purification basket inside a caisson pit and provide the purification of water quality by the suitable combination of the aerobic oxidation with adherent microbes by installing jet nozzles on the bottom of the caisson pit and providing the aerobic conditions arranged by swirl flows generated by air shots jetted out of the jet nozzles. SOLUTION: A caisson pit is provided with iron outer walls 2A and inner walls 2B, and shoes 13 are incorporated into a pit lower section with a horizontal material 3 incorporated inside and air shot jet pits 7 of trumpet shape are incorporated into a central section and four sides of a base plate concrete 4. For the purpose of enhancing the air shot effect, jet nozzles 11 are taken out and set outside by air pipes 9, and compressors 10 are arranged above. Outlets 12C are formed on the bottoms of the air shot jet pits 7, and an encircling basket 8A and a dividing basket 8B are arranged.
