PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject foam capable of improving a catalytic smell, rise at the early stage of foam and lateral elongation properties, by using a catalyst composition consisting essentially of a quaternary ammonium salt and a tertiary amine having specific structures. SOLUTION: In this method for reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in the presence of a catalyst, a blowing agent and optionally another auxiliary, a catalyst composition comprising (A) 1-50wt.% of a tertiary amine of the formula (A and B are each a 2-3C alkylene; (n) is 1-3; R1 to R5 are each a 1-6C alkyl, etc.), (B) 29-80wt.% of a monohydroxydialkyl quaternary ammonium salt obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to an organic acid salt or an inorganic acid salt of the component A and (C) 5-70wt.% of a dihydroxyalkyl quaternary ammonium salt obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to the organic acid salt or the inorganic acid salt of the component A is used as the catalyst. |
