PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material which can form a coating film having a good hardness and processability and excellent design properties, resistance to contact mark and scratch resistance. SOLUTION: This invention provides a coating composition comprising 100 pts.wt. film-forming resin component comprising 65-95 pts.wt. hydroxyl polyester resin having a number - average molecular weight of 2,000-35,000, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -25 to 35 deg.C and a hydroxyl value of 3-100mgKOH/g and 5-35 pts.wt. at least one crosslinking agent selected among amino resins and blocked polyisocyanate compounds and 1-20 pts.wt. at least resin powder selected among polyamide resin powders and polypropylene resin powders and having a means particle diameter of 20-60μm and a coated metallic sheet prepared by coating a metallic sheet with a polyester primer having a Tg of 40-100 deg.C and coating the primer film with a cured film of the above composition.
