<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smelting reduction method of iron raw material which can realize an iron and steel production with smelting reduced iron and scrap without wasteful process and quantitative restriction of using of the scrap, and a smelting reduction furnace. SOLUTION: In the smelting reduction method of the iron raw material, by which the smelting reduction is executed to the raw material by charging the iron raw material, carbonaceous material and slag-making agent into a reaction vessel 1 of the smelting reduction furnace and also, blowing oxygen or oxygen-enriched air to produce the iron or the pig iron and slag and the iron or the pig iron is fed to a molten iron pool part attached to the reaction vessel 1, high temp. gas from the reaction vessel 1 is introduced into a preheating vessel 15, in which the scrap is charged, and the scrap is preheated and the preheated scrap 16 is charged into the reaction vessel 1.</p> |
