<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate conversion of the direction of an article through simple constitution. SOLUTION: When an article approaches a spot situated upper stream, a piston rod 13 is contracted through operation of a first air cylinder 12, and an angle plate 9 is lowered to a position, where the front M1 of an article M makes contact therewith, together with a bracket 8. When the front M1 of the article M makes contact with a first guide part 10 of the angle plate 9, the angle plate 9 is started to revolve to a spot situated downstream by a feed force on the article M by a conveyor 2. In this case, since a resistance force is exerted on rotation of a ball spline shaft 6 by an air cylinder 19, under a state to make contact with the angle plate 9, the article M is guided to a corner part at a speed lower than an ordinary flow speed with the article brought into slide contact with the angle plate 9. With this state, a side is positioned at a front simultaneously with completion of 90 deg. revolution of the angle plate 9 and conversion of a direction is completed.</p> |
