The invention relates to a ski or similar skating device (e.g. mono-ski or a snowboard or similar), by which the benefits resulting from the known solutions shall be maintained, but in addition to that and without any additional supplements the torsional deformability, especially of the forward part (1) of the ski or similar skating device, shall be essentially reduced. In such a manner the ski edges (5, 6) shall also during turning or maneuvering stay in its correct position with respect to the ground, so that running away from the correct direction could be avoided. In addition, herewith also vibrations occurring on skis during maneuvering can be essentially reduced, by which the so-called chattering of the skis can be mainly eliminated. The ski or similar skating device according to the invention has a narrowed forward portion (1), the width (a) of which - when observing it in the plane parallel to the ground or to the running surface (4) - and except its end part (1') or the so-called tip is essentially smaller than the width (b) of the rearward portion (2) except the end portion (2') thereof. |
