摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling of the second input shaft from a fitting hole by a falling blocking member, make it unnecessary to increase the depth of the fitting hole more than necessary, and thereby, prevent the increase of the size of an automatic brake booster device in the axial direction. SOLUTION: A brake boosting device furnishes an automatic brake operating means to maintain the brake booster device in the operating condition even though a brake pedal is depressed. An input shaft 8 is composed of the first input shaft 15 and the second input shaft 16, and one side is interlocked to the brake pedal 10, while the other side is interlocked to a valve mechanism 5. The end of the second input shaft 16 is fitted to a fitting hole 15e formed to the first input shaft 15 slidable, and an engaging part 16g is formed to the end, while a falling preventive member 17 to block the falling of the engaging part 16g from the fitting hole 15e by abutting to the engaging part 16g is provided to the first input shaft 15.
