摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold an arm in the gripping position even if no fluid pressure acts on an actuator which is to open and close a gripping arm. SOLUTION: A pair of griping arms 85 and 87 are supported on a body 83 by a pivot pin 89 and are furnished with cam surfaces 335 on which a roller assembly 201 at the tip of an actuator 171 to make reciprocation is applied through the action of a fluid pressure. The cam surface of each arm is furnished with the first cam surface portion 343 to rotate the arms in the opening direction when the actuator advances, the second cam surface portion 337 to rotate the arms in the closing direction when the actuator is retreated, and the third cam surface portion 339 where the roller assembly is put in engagement in the gripping position of the arms. The third cam surface portion is positioned approx. parallel with the linear moving direction of the actuator, and a recess 341 is provided at the end of the third cam surface portion on the arm 85. An adjusting pin 91 is installed to variably restrict the advancing amount of the actuator and thereby restricts the arm opening angle variably. It may be accepted that one of the arms is fixed.
