The pantograph installation of the parent Specification includes an insulator in the pneumatic pipeline leading to the pantograph head, the insulator comprising a ceramic insulating body 1 having a cylindrical bore 2, and end plates 3 and 4 bolted and sealed to metal rings 9 bonded to the body 1, the body 1 containing insulating oil through which extends a helical air pipe 10 of flexible insulating material connected by unions 7 and 8 with bores 5 and 6 to which the sections of the pneumatic pipeline are connected. The axis of the bore 2 is at an angle not less than 20 degrees to the horizontal, e.g. vertical. |
