The invention relates to a ring (2) which is placed into the cooking pot (1) when cooking liquids. The ring is situated at a distance from the bottom of the pot and by virtue of its cone-shaped geometry causes the liquid to rise through a hole (4) in the middle of the cone and to flow to the bottom of the pot between the outer side of the cone and the wall of the pot. In this way a liquid, for example a sauce, circulates independently in such a manner that the resulting effect is the same as that achieved with stirring with a cooking spoon. Liquid is taken from the bottom of the pot to the upper layers to prevent the contents of the pot from burning. Depending on the nature of the food to be cooked, the ring can also be placed in the pot upside down. To prevent the ring from being moved by the circulating liquid, it should either be heavy enough or be attached to the wall of the pot at the required distance to the bottom of the pot. |
