PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a volume to be increased or decreased by a method wherein a bag-like main body made of synthetic resin having a blowing port at a part of it communicates with a branched section branched from the surface of the main body. SOLUTION: After a lid of a packaging box is closed, air is blown by a compressor from an opening into an air blowing port 2a. Then, a main body 1a of a filling member 1 is bulged out to fill a clearance generated between the packaging box and a stored item. In concurrent with this operation, the branch sections 1b are extended to enter a small clearance which is not filled by the main body 1a, thereby the clearance generated between the packaging box and the stored item is filled by the main body 1a and the branch sections 1b. In addition, after taking out the stored item from the packaging box, the filling member 1 opens a plug 3 at the air blowing port 2a to discharge air, resulting in that a volume of the filling member 1 is substantially reduced and it is possible to fold it and store in a proper location and then it may be re-used as required. |
