PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably provide an excellent charging preventive capability by a method wherein a heat transfer image receiving sheet contains a sulfonated polyaniline. SOLUTION: Basically, this heat transfer image receiving sheet is constituted by providing a dye receptor layer 2 on at least one surface of a base material sheet 1. In the dye receptor layer 2 which is provided on the surface of the base material sheet 1, a sulfonated polyaniline is contained as a charging preventive agent. Or, a charging preventive layer containing the sulfonated polyaniline is provided between the base material sheet 1 and the dye receptor layer. There is a case wherein on the surface of the base material sheet on the opposite side from the dye receptor layer 2, a rear surface layer (a slip layer) containing the sulfonated polyaniline as the charging preventive agent is provided. There is a case wherein a charging preventive layer containing the sulfonated polyaniline may be provided between the rear surface layer and the base material sheet 1.
