PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive copying paper which is excellent in water resistance of a colored image by a method wherein a substance for which at least one kind of nuclear substituted polyvalent metallic salt salicylate represented by the formula, and at least one kind of ketone resin are uniformly mixed, is made a major component. SOLUTION: For this developer composition, a uniform mixture of a nuclear substitution polyvalent metallic salt salicylate represented by the formula (in the formula, R1 , R2 , R3 and R4 are hydrogen atoms which may be different or the same, halogen atoms, a cycloalkyl group, a phenyl group, a nuclear substituted phenyl group, an aralkyl group, or a nuclear substituted aralkyl group, and also, adjacent two of R1 , R2 , R3 and R4 may combine and form a ring, and (n) is a number which is 1 or more, and M is magnesium, calcium, zinc, aluminum, iron, cobalt, nickel, or a basic ion of these.), and a ketone resin, is made a major component. A water dispersion liquid of the developer composition is applied on the surface of a supporting body, and dried, and finished as a pressure-sensitive copying paper. |
