PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a macromolecular solid electrolyte having a low internal resistance and reduced in a long-term increase in internal resistance by specifying the content of unreacted matter in the polymer matrix of the solid electrolyte prepared by subjecting a mixture comprising an electrolyte salt and a polymerizable monomer and/or a polymerizable oligomer to effect the polymerization of the polymerizable monomer and/or the polymerizable oligomer. SOLUTION: As compared with other polymerization processes, polymerization by irradiation with an actinic radiation can accomplish a polymerization reaction quickly without fail, can provide a higher reaction rate and can reduce the content of unreacted polymerizable monomer and/or a polymerizable oligomer in the polymer matrix to 30wt.% or below. Especially from the viewpoint of the denaturation of the macromolecular solid electrolyte, the simplicity of equipments and safety, the polymerization is performed by irradiation with ultraviolet rays at an intensity of 20mW/cm<2> or above. The polymerizable monomer and/or oligomer used contain a hetero atom (i.e., an atom other than C) such as O, N, S or the like in the molecule. This is dissolved in a nonaqueous electrolyte solution and polymerized. The hetero atoms can improve the strengths of the obtained solid electrolyte. |
