<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge whether a subject keeps the height of a blood pressure sensor aligned with the position of his/her heart by applying the constitution that a light emitting part is kept horizontal, a beam is irradiated to the testee from the light emitting part, when a horizontal detection signal from a spirit level is inputted, and then a measurement process starts. SOLUTION: A subject positions and fixes his/her elbow of the forearm wound with a cuff 2 onto a table and, then, when a height measurement part 9 is kept horizontal, a horizontal detection signal is outputted from a spirit level 10. In addition, a light emission diode 11, upon receipt of the horizontal detection signal from the sprit level 10, irradiates a beam type of light 11a to the testee. Then, when a measurement start switch 12 is pressed, a small pressurizing pump 2a operates and the air is sent to the cuff 2, thereby pressurizing the upper arm. After the cuff 2 reaches the prescribed pressure, a decompression process gradually takes place and at this process, pressure within the cuff 2 is detected with a blood pressure sensor 3.</p> |
