PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable output to vary continuously by changing the output phase difference between inverter circuits within a specific range while two sets of resonance inverter circuit are operated under a constant duty cycle and frequency. SOLUTION: An output voltage appearing between output terminals (a), (b) is balanced at the phase difference a corresponding to the set value of an output current setting unit 18; as a result, the current supplied between the machining electrode 14 and an object to be machined is kept at a value set by the setting unit 18. In addition, where the phase differenceαof the two resonance inverter circuit 31a, 31b is zero, namely, where the maximum output is specified as an output voltage to the load, each resonance inverter circuit is also operated with the maximum output, so that the current capacity of a switching element can be effectively utilized. Further, the range of output adjustment can be changed from 0 to 100% by setting the range of the phase difference a for adjusting the output as 0<=α<=π.
