A carrier containing removable bins for screws comprises two side walls 21 connected together by two rods 22, 23 and stiffening members 24, and troughs 1 welded to the side walls 21 and adapted to support the bins; alternatively the troughs are replaced by strips fixed to the side walls or by inwardly projecting strips (52, 53 Figs 4, 5) punched out of the sheet metal side walls or the carrier is made of plastics and the troughs (71 Figs. 6, 7) are moulded in one piece with the carrier. The troughs may have ribs 8 or partitions separating adjacent bins. The front of each trough has an aperture 9 giving access to the grip of each bin. The lower edges of the side walls 21 and parts of the upper edges are formed as channels 25, 28 so that one carrier can be suspended from another by sliding the channels 25, 28 into engagement. The carriers made of plastics (Figs. 6, 7) have two grooves at this upper end of each side wall, one groove being open to the front and the other open to the rear and carriers are stacked one above the other or one suspended below the other by engaging ribs (65) on the lower edges of the side walls with one or other groove. |
