The component involves a mains connection line for supplying current to a pin coupling part extending out of a surface of a switch-off component 9 for fitment and electrical supply to a suitable electrical user. The switch-off component is held in an item of kitchen furniture or domestic apparatus (1), out of the front side of which it can be drawn. The item of kitchen furniture or domestic apparatus has a current supply device for feed to the pin coupling part (25). With the switch-off component drawn outwards for operating purposes the pin coupling part (25) is electrically connected with the current supply unit of the item of kitchen furniture or domestic apparatus. The switch-off component incorporates a position switch, which with the component drawn outwards for operating purposes connects the mains connecting conduit of the pin coupling part with the electrical current supply unit.
