The back transmission device comprises a reception aerial (ARi) and a receiver (REi ) for receiving a signal (SRi ) at a carrier frequency. A demodulator (Mri, ORi) demodulates the received signal and a battery type memory circuit (CANi, MTi, CNAi) realises a time conjugation in order to produce a signal (SLIi) read in reverse w.R.t. The written demodulated signal. A modulator (MEi, OEi) operates at the carrier frequency in order to modulate the read signal into a back transmission signal (SE2i). With the provision of time conjugation, the second received signal (SR2i) follows the reflection of the back transmission signal from the targets, which also includes the phase due to the distance (do) from the targets. A second back transmission device comprises a complex phase conjugation circuit to operate with the Doppler effect.
