Disclosed is a special electromechanical device for a tilting bucket sorting machine which specially secures the horizontal load-carrier position. Tilting of the load-carrier (LT) and normal position fixing are carried out by stationary guide tracks (LS) interacting with a feeling lever (FH) on the vehicle, said lever being guided in an E-shaped shifting gate (K). When the load-carriers are in a horizontal position, the feeling lever (FH) is brought into a position in which it can interact with the guiding tracks (LS) only when a magnet (M) is actuated on the vehicle.
